For my part, I was hopeful of making the last eight.

Quite honestly, I'm surprised I'm still here. I suspected I might outlast SWA, but that's about it. Final four wasn't on my dream sheet.

You know what? It just hit me that you might have no idea the subtext of the final four and dream sheet thing...

It's a college basketball thing. We have the NCAA tournament every year. 64 teams play for the ultimate championship in single-elimination rounds. Anyway, you have brackets (like all playoffs). You go down to the "sweet sixteen", the "elite eight" and the "final four". Then you're at the championship.

Americans usually have office pools for how things will play out and we all make up our individual brackets and fill out the whole thing up to and including the champion. The person who has the closest bracket to how things actually plays out wins the pot. I call these brackets, my "dream sheet".
