CT Difference between Classic Trilogy and normal SW saga

I am very confused by my friends talking about this So i thought i would ask professional

 

The saga is 6 movies.

 

So what movie is classic?

 

The classic trilogy is just another name for the original trilogy (Episodes IV, V and VI).

They are all classics though.

From a certain point of view, perhaps but the PT was released way too recently to be considered a "classic". When you look at it from a cinematic point of view it would be considered a classic at all.

 

This is obviously a subtle attack on the PT by a radical OT purist. He is comparing the PT to an ugly dress, and is saying not to say it looks good just because it's Star Wars.

Or he is just a bot.
