I just ordered a Covertec belt clip and I was thinking about where to put it on my belt.
Where do you put yours, and where do they work best?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you take it out just with one hand, or do you have your left hand squeeze the release buttons and your right hand grip it?

you can do either depending on your how big your hands/saber and how dextrous you are.

It just takes practice to both sqeeze the two buttons and draw your saber with one hand. ;)

Of course, in the Prequel movies, they often cheated and didn't have Covertec clips that locked, I'm pretty sure.

I dont know how Qui gon puts his lightsaber in the covertec clip so fast, all done in one easy motion. Its when they flank all the droids in Naboo.

That's because he's faking it. If you watch closely, in slow motion, he really only tucks it inside his robe near the belt clip, then they cut the scene. ;)

QuiGon puts his saber away faster than the sound FX people could switch it off!

Hmmm, yes maybe Loreen is right i mean thats kinda impossible, getting that little button inside the clip.

I guess i'll stick to D-rings if i want to put my lightsaber away really fast. Thanks Loreen ;)

yeah but then you risk a lot of groin and thigh damage from the swinging hilt.

Not to be a nit pick but you can notice that the Jedi and the Sith wear their lightsabers mostly on one side or the other.
The Jedi wear theirs on the left.
The sith wear theirs on the right.

never noticed that. most of the prequel jedi are right handed thus the left side hanging.

what sith have you seen with their saber on the left?

I wear mine on the right (and I am right handed) with a covertec. I have found that to be more comfortable for me as I can draw it with one hand that way and I can put it away relatively quick as well.
