Star Wars Digamma Squad- A Republic Commando RPG

You are an elite clone commando serving in Digamma Squad. You have been trained from birth to be inserted into sensitive operations that clone troopers and ARCs can?t handle. You will be serving with 5 other squad mates. Each of them will be specially trained in a certain job, and so will you. You are the best of the best, and no one can stand in your way.

Classes

There are seven types of classes to choose from. Each one has to be filled by at least one commando (player):

Leader- The leader leads the squad and makes critical decisions to help the squad. In addition to the generic set of weapons (see below), the leader has a jetpack, EMP grenades, and an EMP launcher, similar to the jet trooper.

Sniper- The sniper is a specialist in long-range slotting (killing). The sniper has, (in addition to the standard weapons), recon droids and thermal detonators.

Tech Specialist- The tech specialist excels at slicing terminals and hacking system mainframes. Tech specialists can deploy proximity mines.

Demolitions Expert- The demolitions expert is a commando who loves to play with stuff that goes bang. The demolitions expert has a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and fragmentation grenades.

Camo Trooper- The camo trooper has the ability to use his unique camouflaging armor to sneak past enemy radar and sight. Once the camo trooper engages in combat the special armor switches off its camouflage to divert power to shields. The camo trooper carries time-bombs and flash-bang grenades.

Medic- The medic makes sure that the squad is operating at full health. The medic carries sonic detonators and a portable bacta dispenser.

Clone Advisor- The clone advisor briefs the squad and tells them their missions, status, and objectives. The advisor only appears in holograms and has no weapons.

Equipment

Every republic commando has top-grade Katarn armor with rechargeable shields, a knuckle plate vibroblade, and four modes of visor views: thermal imaging, night vision, tactical, and regular.

Each Republic Commando is supplied with a generic set of weapons that are usable by every class. This set of weapons includes:
1 DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System, with three modes- blaster, sniper rifle, and anti-armor.
1 DC-15s side arm blaster
Along with various weapons, grenades, and clips that can be picked up throughout the game.

Armor Color: Black tiger stripes going down arm plates and sides of torso armor. Two extra stripes moving down diagonals of his helmet to the visor, resembling sharp horns.

Class: Medic
Hobbies: Conversing with fellow Clone troopers
Quirks: Sings to himself, often songs not fitting the time
Armor Color: Red stripes running down arms and chest, yellow running down middle of helmet

Nickname: Spark
Class: Tech Specialist
Hobbies: Revamping mechanical devises.
Quirks: Has developed a slight twitch due to being electrocuted too many times. Has anger issues.
Armor Color (or splashes of color): White as the main. Aqua colored shoulder pads that connect on the chest, with a steak that goes down the top side of the arm and ends on the back of the glove. The legs are splashed with aqua color making them a water splashed look.

Hey I don't know about other people but I'm looking forward to playing this so I was wanting to know if we can start without a camo trooper, or have you playing one, and then later if someone wants to play one they can join then.

Quirks: Doesn't talk much, most likely due to his training in Stealth. Sometimes comes off as overly serious, uptight, cold, and heartless but in actuality he'd lay his life down for any member of his Squad.

IC: Twitch
Twitch looked at the holographic images of Digamma Squad before him. "Digamma, welcome to Geonosis. I am CC-07/777, your clone advisor. I'm glad to see that you all made it out of training. Your mission is to to infiltrate and destroy a droid production facility. I will be on standby and will notice you on any problems that you may not know beforehand. All in-combat decisions will be decided by RC-2840, your squad leader. Good luck, and if you have any questions, ask me now or later in the mission if you need be." Twitch paused to see if anyone had any questions.

IC: Spark

Spark stood motionless as he waited for the coming storm. From the mission briefing they were told that Geonosis was a rocky planet, with underground catacombs, and droid foundries. As there was not much time for reconnaissance the squad would be going in knowing little about what they would be facing. Spark wasn't worried. They were commandos. Bred for missions like this. Those scrap heaps the Separatists called droids were no match for the Digammas.

Spark shifted slightly as the call came in from that Adviser who had been set over them. He listened carefully as their orders were given. At the end the adviser asked for questions. Spark raised his hand, and spoke. "Sir, any idea of what kind of resistance we may encounter?"

IC: Meddy

Meddy kept nudging the brother to his side, Kiddo, but didn't get a response. Meddy was not interested in battles, wars especially, and Twitch seemed very strange you could call it. He had a twitch, and it freaked Meddy out. Meddy had grown accustomed to his name, and now enjoyed being called it. He had practiced healing so many times in his life but had never actually healed an actual person. He knew he could, but examining his brothers around him, he almost cried thinking about it. He was very sensitive, and he was kidded about it a lot.

Meddy then noticed Twitch was talking about a planet, Geonosis it had been called. Not a familiar planet but still Meddy had heard it before. Meddy then looked to his other side and tried to nudge Dha. Dha was very grave looking, and so Meddy had stayed as far away as he could before. When Twitch asked them if they had a question, Meddy almost raised his hand, but Spark raised his first, asking the same question.

Twitch thought about Spark's question, then keyed in a question on his helmet computer. "You should expect to encounter moderate to heavy resistance. You may also encounter some experimental droid designs, as a there is a droid design center there. Any other questions?" Twitch twitched.

IC: AH-den

AH-den Looked around at his team, and then considered asking a question before deciding not to. He stood up and was holding onto one of the hanging bars with one hand looking at his team, his other hand was flipping a coin without him even noticing. he waited to land and he surveyed his group. He seemed to have gotten the problem group, the ones who excel at what they do but have character flaws.

IC: RC-1213 Spark

Experimental Droids? Spark thought. Not necessarily something he wanted to go up against. If it was experimental they would have no idea what to expect from it. The only good thing about it was that he would be getting his hands dirty spiking into its systems, and pulling out its secrets. This was something he enjoyed doing. "Sir, what is our current main objective?" Spark asked. Obvious question.

IC: CC-07/777 "Twitch"
Twitch tried to restrain himself from twitching, but failed. "Spark, our current main objective is to infiltrate and destroy the facility." Twitch paused, remembering that Spark was the tech specialist. "Also, any secrets and weaknesses about any experimental droids will be appreciated." Twitch hoped to please Spark. "Is that all the questions?"

IC: Dha

Listening intently to the hologram of Twitch, Dha stood still amongst the other members of his squad as they were briefed on the mission. His face was exposed, helmet in one hand, rifle in the other, cleanshaven from neck to skull, stone faced. His brother Meddy nudged him, Dha only shot him a menacing look that warned not to disturb him during the brief then returned his attention to Twitch.

Making note of all questions asked, Dha waited until an opening came, then asked his own question. "Take no prisoners, sir?" he was talking about witnesses of course. The last thing Digamma Squad needed was some Separatist revealing their existence when most of the Grand Army of the Republic didn't even know they existed.

"Kill all witnesses, or capture them if they're valuable." He answered Dha's question. "Is that all the questions?"

IC: Edge

Edge knelt down, still tweaking with his rifle and spoke; "It seems as if we have all the details we'll need Sir. If anything of importance comes up we can always check back with command." He stood looking towards his squad ready to make the move. "Experimental droids? Just means less time spent to figure out how to cover up the weak-spots." he thought to himself as he let a small grin crack across his face beneath his helmet.

"Good. Your gunship should be landing mometarily. Oh, and be careful out there. Droids may be stupid, but they can aim." Twitching, Twitch shut off the hologram.

OOC: The next person to post should detail landing and getting off of the gunship.

IC:RC-1213 Spark

Turbulence hit the gunship as it got closer to the landing point. The ship rocked as explosions hit the sky around them. Spark reached up and held tightly to the hand holds above. Outside he heard, and felt a couple near misses. He was beginning to feel like they weren't going to make it.

"Hold on boys! We are coming in for a landing." The pilot said through their helmet speakers. The gunship rumbled a couple more times, and began to slow as it neared the ground. The gunship landed, and the side doors opened. Spark, and the squad jumped out, and took up positions around the gunship.

"Good luck boys." The pilot said as it took back off and flew away. Spark pulled up his deece, and scanned the area. "All clear commander. What are your orders." Spark said through his helmet.

The turbulance of entry was to be expected as Ah-den stood by the door holding his gun in one hand he looked back at his unit he thought 'I hope they were right about these guys being the best or else this is going to be one hell of a short trip'. "What are your orders?" snapped his mind to the present "Standard flaired exit your on point. Edge, Kiddo you two on point I want the imediate area locked down. Spark , Dha you guys are to clear the areas they miss while Meddy and I will cover the rear as the bird leaves, Once the imediate area is clear we can move on." As the dropship hit the ground the doors opened. "Ok troops move out!"
