MidWest Digital Projection

My friends and I are looking for a place to go watch Episode II digitally projected. Is there a site that lists places that do this or can anyone list some theaters in the Midwest that do it? TIA.

Just found out today that there's going to be a single auditorium at a two different theaters in the Metro-Detroit area with a digital projector...in Southfield and Birch Run.

While the AMC South Barrington no longer owns a digital camera, there are two three theaters in Illinois that will be sporting brand new systems.

Showcase Cinemas Springdale (located in northern Cincinnati) is one of the 19 digital theaters in the US. They only have one digital house, and it's Screen #2.

Just got my tickets for the midnight digital showing there! It's gonna rock!

 

Hey!! is that true that the following theatre is NOT digital?:

South Barrington, IL 60010

AMC South Barrington does

NOT

have digital. They shipped the equipment off to some theater in Canada. Go figure. See my list above for theaters in Northern IL that DO have digital.

I recommend McClurg b/c that is where CF lined up for EPII for approx 12 days. It has a huge old-style auditorium (750 seats), awesome sound, and a huge screen. Of course it is downtown, so the other theaters (especially Schaumburg) might be closer.

To be fair, I haven't been to either of the other theaters.
