Animation Stuios has created a story boarding tool for maya. Check out the site Here

InterActiveStoryBoard is a A|W Maya Project Management Tool, that allows you to put together a `digital storyboard` within Maya.

The storyboard gives you a good overview of your production by showing how the shots will be put together for the final product.

InterActiveStoryBoard requires Maya 4.0 (or higher) running on Windows or Irix

    features

    Batch (PlayBlasts, Render) multiple shots.
    Export to Shake
    Export to EDL
    Export to Excel
    BackUp Maya files
Submit Maya / Shake jobs to Smedge
Add black and dissolves between shots
    Comment shots with notes
    Snapshot storyboard image
    Passes
    Prescripts
    Created/by/date & Modified/by/date per shot
Most recent playblast and rendered images available through play / fcheck button
Force playblast to open with Quicktime
    Storyboard Render Settings
    Favorites Manager
    VideoLoader
    Stamper
    FTP
    Remapper
Apply Mel Scripts to selected Shots
    Shot Report

umm... okay. just wondering why you posted this cause me and avene are the only Maya users here (i think), and it was on the cgchannel frontpage... hehehe dont mean to be a jerk but since most people here are 3dsm users it doesn't really make sense. :D

It looks alright. I don't think I'd have any use for it myself though. I prefer to work with animatics in order to get all the timing right using Vegas Video. Just load clips into there.

I use Maya, as do a few other people.
    Thanks for the info :)
Though I don't know how helpful it is...

    Good work, Macho!

I'm just getting started with Maya (Personal Learing Edition).

The tutorials alone are worth it!!!

Besides my cousin works on the Maya development team!
