NYC, NY Dinner with Peter Mayhew-Confirmed

The National, which is sponsored by Big Apple Con, the official Con of SWNYC, will be held this Nov. 9th, 10, 11th.

Peter Mayhew confirmed attendance with us last evening as did Richard LaParmentier (Admiral Motti) He informed us Kenny Baker will also attend....And oh yeah, Dave prowse will be there too.

There will be a dinner Sat Nov 10th, 8pm at some such locale in the city proobably Mars2112 but I am also pitching Planet
Hollywood and seeing which of the two offer us the best deal, if any. So Far Peter Mayhew and his wife have agreed to attend. Last night we invited Richard LaParmentier and Dave Prowse. Keep watching our site www.starwarsnyc.com for details as they become available. Last time, dinner was a hoot!

I am working with the ECG on this and, as usual, Darth Zippy and his posse has come through for us by changing his plans of going to his home state for an appearance at a con and staying here to help make these events even better!

So far the only confirmed guests at the National Con are Peter Mayhew and David Prowse.

Dinner with Peter Mayhew is confirmed for Saturday Nov 10th at 8PM, official press release will be out soon.

 

We spoke to Mike of the National Con and he said Richard LeParmetier would be at the showe as well. I am waiting for him to confirm for the dinner.

Davis Prowse is not available for that night.

Attention NYC Area Star Wars Fans!

Big Apple Conventions, in association with Star Wars NYC, will be hosting another Celebrity Charity Dinner! Our guests will be Peter and Angie Mayhew, with possibly others to be announced.



The dinner will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10th at 8:00 pm at Mars 2112. The restaurant is at Broadway and 51st Street, down the stairs from the Paramount Building courtyard. A $10.00 donation to the Brooklyn Museum of Art will be requested of attendees; more information about our charity can be seen here.


Our dinner with Jeremy Bulloch was a great success. We raised $150.00 for the Brooklyn Museum of Art, which will help pay for bringing sick and/or less fortunate kids to see the upcoming Magic of the Myth exhibit. The Force is with us!

So far so good, we have 8 RSVPs as of now.

 

As I've said elsewhere, a dinner with both Chewie AND Malla should not be missed. However I do have plans for that night that I'm going to have to tr...err do or do not change. Some dude in hat like dexter's once told me that the future is always in motion!
