Disc, if you're throwing it.
Disk, if you put it in a computer.
Disc. It's what all my old CDs say, so I'm guessing that's what was original
K. Prevents thoughts about John Travolta.
So I didn't vote, since I can't tell which one we're talking about.
I always use disc.
I say Disc, so therefore I break the tie, and win. That is all.
I tend to think Disc the majority of the time. But due to my using floppy/hard disk when I was younger perhaps, I still tend to think of it spelled like that...when in regards to computer software only.
Even before the CD became famous. I always spelled my Commodore 64 floppy disks with a "K".
In what context?
I think I use both, depending on the situation, but I think I said "disk" because that's what I use the most often and I was thinking of a floppy disk.
As TLI and Idrelle said... depends on what you're using it for...
Disc looks cooler.
