JCC Discussion Time: Let's Talk About Drafts - next draft?

Well, if Shurron and Kalar said so we better do it.

But ... if we're bringing back Silver Surfer (let alone X-Man or Dr. Strange), does Swamp Thing really warrant removal still?

 

well, given what people were talking about him it seems possible. i could go back and find the relevant quotes if you guys want.

i can say that it seemed like he was too abstract, and that it would take two things to beat him: destroying his mind, and i'm pretty sure he was said to have TP resistance of some sort. two: disintegration before he can transfer his mind to another plant and regrow his body. no one else could think of any other way to beat him, and not very many people have the abilities to do that.

pretty much no one saw him losing in that draft as far as i could tell, and i just read the whole thing last night.

anyway, just figured i'd toss out a reminder.

 

pretty sure thanos could beat swamp thing.

Actually, I believe that's exactly why I left him in.

 

I'm interested as to why the other elementals don't get in? Although really Swamp Thing is the only one that gets major play, but still... I mean I don't care, I'm judging anyway, not playing. Assuming this actually happens.

So we're not really going to do this draft, are we?

 

I thought we were holding off until after the move Yak . . . unless I missed something. Kinda would stop momentum if we got through one round then had to wait 2-3 weeks for the site to be back up.

 

Oh, sorry. The Yak's Inferno is not known for our patience.

Definitely only one at a time But as long as people are interested, I'm happy to see them revived.

 

That one at a time thing is independent of the sports thing going on, right?

 

oh hey, sorry i didn't see this one. but yeah, as i said in the basketball draft, i'd love to draft a comicbook/jedi draft. and i certainly hope we don't have to get in line to play musical chairs with these type of drafts and sports drafts. oh, and hey heels. good to see you're back.

A lot has happened in comics since Inty posted that last list. Does anyone know of any potential problems with characters since all of this craziness DC started?
