    I'm not sure how many of you guys are interested in doing podcasting or are already doing podcasting, but I thought I'd start up a thread on it for tips, tricks, and tutorials.

    How to Create Podcasts
    *pretty decent from what I've read
    [link=http://radio.about.com/od/podcastin1/a/aa030805a.htm]Podcast Tutorial[/link]

    Audacity Software
    *free software recommended by the above tutorial
    [link=http://audacity.sourceforge.net/]Audacity[/link]

    LAME mp3 Encoder
    *need this in addition to Audacity
    [link=http://lame.sourceforge.net]LAME MP3 Encoder[/link]

    Quick & Easy Guide
    *download Audacity
    *get a decent mic and plug it in
    *start a new recording in Audacity
    *save it as mp3
    *write down the file size of the recording by right clicking on the file and selecting Properties
    *create RSS file in text editor (Notepad)

    *edit in your information and save RSS file
    *upload mp3 file and RSS file to server

    Wow, that was a very informative tutorial. I never even would've thought that someone would make one for this topic. Well done! :D

    Thanks a bunch!

    I'm curious how the ForceCast guys do their podcasting.

    I'll see about Grimby or I talking to them to see if they'd be interested in discussing it here a bit.

    If and when I get a decent recording setup, I'll use this list for reference. Good job! :)

    Thanks.

    All you really need is a good headset.
