    I think Disney have taken "A long time ago" a bit literally (for self-serving purposes, of course).

    I am getting sick of all the Age of the Empire content and new eras heavily similar to it (i.e. the ST). The New Canon needs to expand its horizons and explore events before TPM. I'm talking up to thousands of years before. That's what is so cool about the EU (now legends). There was a clear timeline of stories ranging from approximately 25,000 BBY to 139 ABY.

    I enjoy the New Canon, but it needs to take more chances and rely less on familiar imagery like the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire.
