Harrison gets a big paycheck and to finally get his wish after 30 years. I just hope they have things for these older actors to do. Nostalgia is fun but it's also a killer. Seeing Bridges reprise his Fynn role in Legacy was AWESOME and COOL, but the character also did pretty much nothing and then blew himself up at the end.

In other words if your gonna have these characters, make actually be characters in your movie. Not just props.

I'm gonna go ahead and believe that Arnt is going to go for a big family story in the next trilogy, so hopefully their will be no issues.

Welp, I don't need to see that movie now.

I'm both elated and depressed by this news. Yeah, Han Solo in the ST, played by Harrison Ford. Oh no, I'm going to have to see him killed off most likely. *sobs*

...I'm not sure if I mean Han Solo or the Post-RotJ EU. EU would hurt a lot more. In 300 ABY everyone is dead anyway. It's all a matter of perspective.

Pretty much this. If there gonna be in it at least have them do something rather than just fan service.

As for Ford I hope it's better than Indy 4 or Die Hard 5 or any of these other memory destroying films where old actors try to reprise famous films from there youth

Well, if we're being honest, I'm not sure I want the ST, not that it matters. I would've been happy to just continue to read about the characters I cared about and not bothered with more films. Obviously, Disney did not ask me before they bought LF. The nerve...

For what it's worth, Ford's presence would (remember: unconfirmed) be good news for the EU--we could then rule out at least the first thirty years or so after Endor. Hell, with the "medical technology" excuse, 2013 Harrison Ford could easily play 50-70 ABY Han Solo if they were so inclined.

Yeah, that's my thought- *if* true, it (kind of) gives us a timeframe for the ST, which probably works better the later it's set.

I wonder how many older actors would appear in Episode 7. My guess is that they would bring in a clone trooper from the Clone Wars:
