    well if the Willow movie was the Hobbit, then these sequels are THE LORD OF THE RINGS ;) definitely worth.. I got two paperback books for each novel in the trilogy and one hardcover even.

    Considering that the movie came about because they couldn't secure the rights to The Hobbit but decided to make a movie anyways, there you go - three movies, coming up.

    And for a Disney-Star Wars story, look no further than the film version of Eragon.

    Eragon? Eragon sucked.. the books were ok, but not top of the art, but the movie sucked.

    Oh, I never said it was good. Unless you watch it with Rifftrax (who gleefully point out every scene where it rips off Star Wars)

    Worker at my local comic shop, who has Darth Maul and Vader tattoos said he "can't wait" for the new movies. Am I alone in dreading these movies? The SW films work better as a six part saga than the never ending story we'll get from Disney.

    I can't imagine that Old Republic or Clone Wars EU would be affected by Episode VII unless the writers were to purposefully mention things about the old republic to contradict previous EU. I don't see that happening.
