Awesome? That scene alone could be made into a movie and gross as much as The Avengers did!

What if the ST is itself EU?

Won't happen. EU is "Expanded Universe" which means, when defined for the Star Wars franchise, anything not pertaining to the main movie saga, or the "numbered" movies. Since the ST will be part of the main movie saga, it will not be EU.

That was my favorite scene in NJO. I don't think any other characters will ever get a cooler send off.

Hasn't stopped TCW from being considered EU.

Wouldn't what Revanfan1 said support TCW being EU?

Dunno, since there was a movie in the theater.

Not that I'm worried about it. If I enjoy a story, I don't care whether it is considered G-canon, C-canon, T-canon or GTFO-canon.

The large portion of the fandom consider it EU, though Dave Filoni says it is higher canon than EU, but below the movies.

There's more interesting things to argue about than abstractions about what constitutes the EU and canon, like Cad Bane.

The only interesting thing about Cad Bane is his hat.. And even then, his is nothing compared to K'kruhk's.

The way i see it, is that by TCW being higher then most EU (C-canon), that just makes it higher EU, not non-EU. Because if you think about it, basically any star wars material that is not the films is expanded universe. Since TCW is not the films, then its EU.

By the way i wonder what Dave Filoni knows/thinks about Cad Bane. Is he aware who Bane really is, and the fact that Bane's mere existence creates really important questions (ex. does he create contradictions?, etc), that are even more important then the question of the meaning of life?

Does "EU" have an official definition? The question here is whether it refers to the form of media or a canon level.

EU is a catch-all term for everything not Lucas-originated - or that's how I think of it.

Pablo Hidalgo now defines it, as just two levels now

TV series, and film are G Canon

    Everything else is lower canon.

Ya well you know, that's just like his opinion man.

    TCW is T-canon, it can't be G-canon.

Anything outside of the 6 films, officially released by LFL not marked "Infinities" or falling under the categories "game-mechanics" or "artistic license" (toys and stuff). That's how I see it anyway (and I'm pretty sure that's fairly close to the "official" definition).

GL (who overrides Chee in my opinion) said that he no longer distinguishes TCW from the movies.

He works for LFL/Disney, he reports to Kathleen Kennedy, who reports to Bob Iger.

He, and Leland Chee set those policies.

Their are now to canons, filmed, and everything else is lower canon, able to be over written, by whatever appears on film, tv, or movie.

Of course, KK and BI might change the canon system.
