Burtt was the editor for the prequels. For reasons unbeknownst to me. I mean, Paul Hirsch is still alive and doing amazing work. Perhaps he would have told George "no" though.

In the scene originally Anakin was there for the arrest and Palpatine takes his lightsaber.

So there was gonna be even more murderin' with the eventual good-guy weapon.

Terrellian jango jumper Cassie Cryar seemed to cope fine without armor, in TCW, after stealing Ahsoka's saber.

Wow, interesting... I never heard of that before. I think I'd have liked that more, as if it was done right, it could have made Anakin's decision to side with Palpatine feel a lot more dramatic than just moody Christensen looking moody by himself before he even got there.

    Of course she has.

Did y'all think I was joking about the Skywalker thing? [face_whistling]:p

    Supershadow eat your heart out!

I think I'd probably be down with that, though. I realise it would prompt cries of, "Oh, another secret Skywalker, how original!" but... this is... it's STAR WARS, man. It's THE pulp space fantasy of the modern age. A certain degree of formulaic cheese is required.

And given the fixation on Finn-Rey (STAND BY FOR ACTION!) and how they relate to the original cast, it has all the more potential to be surprising.

Well, maybe not for you guys, now, if it turns out I'm guessing correctly. Y'all be like, "Dammit, Uli accidentally spoiled everything! I hate him!"

And I'll look down and whisper, "Ho ho ho."

Uli if Rey is not a Jaina analogue I will personally hold you responsible. Personally. Responsible.

Ok at least that is better then. Still wish the map was labeled mid rim and outer rim worlds. The question still reminds...where is the inner rim/core world map?

No Darkknell, well that shows how little Interlude at Darkknell mattered after TFU.

Putting it in 0BBY never really made sense anyway. Bel Iblis was already a fugitive during Rebel Dawn.

At least, that was the impression I got from the way events in Rebel Dawn described his involvement in the Corellian Treaty.

It is a fake map, dude. Don't freak out about it.

And wasn't Darkknell used in Knight Errant?

I know, but since the map has Jakku, we know where their priorities are.

I wouldn't know, I have never read Knight Errant.

Yeah, the priorities of the people who made a fake map. And even if it was real, of course Jakku is on it! If this is a map for the ST then the planet that the ST starts on is obviously going to be on the map. I mean, how can you even believe this is a legitimate, logical complaint? o_O

Well, it was there, and KE came out after TFU. But Darkknell is not, nor was it ever, an important planet. Just because IAD took place there doesn't really mean that anything else important ever has to happen there. That would kind of be like Tatooine 2.0 where one random planet becomes super-important for no apparent reason. Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Darkknell again, but...there's nothing special about it. It's a generic planet created because a planet was needed.

@ Steve, Nah, I figure it'll take 4.2 seconds for it to get posted all over the internet and I don't want to be getting emails from VF for the rest of my life.

Hi yes I signed up for the Vanity Fair thing. Thanks for the reminder. Looks like the image was probably Phasma or something, so they gave us an interview and another Lupita Mo Cap pic.

Couldn't you tell I was half joking?

Why do you think I don't care about Geonosis and Mustafar in TCW?
