LA, CA Disneyland Star Wars Fan Day #2 - June 25, 2006

Hey LA Fan Force! I'm stealing James's job at the moment and annoucing that the website is operational for the Second Annual Disneyland Star Wars Fan Day (Unofficial of course!). June 25, 2006 is the date. We're just getting started with the planning, so start spreading the word to all Star Wars fans alike! Once we get approval for the shirts from LucasFilm, we'll have those for purchase with the proceeds going towards the American Cancer society! Last year we raised $100, which is pretty good considering it was our first time and we didn't officially have the shirts for public wide release.

That's the last free weekend day I have for 2006. I'm officially booked up now. Just kidding. I have it down, I don't know if I'll go. It depends on who's going, because I'm shallow like that.

When I lived back east I went to Disneyland whenever I came out here on vacation. Since I moved out here 15 years ago -- maybe once.

I'm tentatively in. (June is 6 months from now, after all).

I believe the whole DH clan will be present also. It was a lot of fun last year. I love going with APL because of her many perks.

Oh, and I've seen the art work. Sign us up for three shirts, CBM!

Update - LucasFilm has officially approved the image, but they appear to have a new policy that the Sar Wars Logo cannot be sold through any third party company. So, it appears that we will have to make these shirts ourselves and ship them, which will present some problems for us. If any of you guys have ideas on some possible ways we could get these shirts done, please e-mail me at britt@bobafettmp.com It's awesome that we're officially approved for the image, but a bummer that we can't use the easiness of Cafepress.

Hey guys just letting you know that the admission prices went up again. It's now $59 instead of 57. (it's gone up like 4 times in the past 6-9 months...crazy..can you believe it was 49.50 at the end of spring? And we were all shocked at that hike)
So go to Vons, Disney store or anywhere else that sells cheap tickets. There are many ways to get them.

 

$59 for a one park pass!! OMG!

 

This is a bit much. You can get a whole year pass for that much for Six Flags. I know it isn't Disney but still do you think that's a bit much? Sorry I hasketted the thread a bit.

I plan to extend my current pass one more year come May when it is up again.

I will get mine on payday!!! and I will hopefully be able to go.

 

So has anybody gotten their fan day tshirt yet? Were we supposed to yet? The fan website doesn't seem to have any delivery info. I'd forgotten all about this until I was going over my credit card statement and saw the charge.

 

I just got mine. So you should be getting yours soon.

 

I'll be going. Still debating if I will bring my BF or not, and if I'll pick up a multi-park or annual passport or something.

They also have some sort of four day tiket at Costco, you might want to look into that.
Also, please help spread the word to all the other Star Wars/Disney fans you know!
