More importantly, i'll be there on Sunday. No photos or autographs though.

    Saw this online

"One-day tickets to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure are seldom discounted. The exceptions are all for advance purchase only: tickets sold through universities (for students), tickets for school teachers, tickets offered to employees by large corporations and government agencies in Southern California, and military discounts through base MWR offices."

Not entirely true. AAA very often has discount tickets w/ Enhanced Fastpass.

First I've heard to triple a doing anything.

Just tried to buy tickets online, stoopid Disnleyland will let you buy a $25 gift card but you cant buy a one day one park ticket??? Have to call some number then pick them up.

FYI, you can also purchase 1-day and multi-day Park Hopper tickets at The Disney Stores, but NOT regular one-day park tickets. A one-day adult Park Hopper ticket is $79. It's $69 for children.

Vons have One Day Park Hoppers fo $69 Adult and $59 Kids.

I can get one day tickets for $51 from recreation connection but the shipping and admin fee is too much for a low qty, only end up saving $1.

This thread at another site may come of interest to some of you..... ;)

We were at Disneyland yesterday and...WOW! What a mess, but at the same time really cool. The grand stands are all up and stuff is set up on Tom Saywers Island. You can't even get into that area, you have to go into Adventureland where they have it separated in half, traffic flow one way only on each side. We had fun though.
And...Haunted Mansion has new stuff I'd not seen before! I'm not sure how long it's been up. I was talking with the lady who works in Star Trader and she was saying there was new stuff in there so we had to go on it.

    Man I can't wait until Sunday :D

Blue Bayou is open and the word is not good so far.

The prices have gone way up, but the sizes of the portions have gone way down. You now get LESS food than you did before and for more money.

Just eat across the fake street. They turned that place into a full service restuarant, with pretty much everything Blue Bayou use to have.

But you're going for the atmosphere of Blue Bayou too. I love sitting there hearing endless people let out those screams as they go down those waterfalls, seriously..I do. Not to mention listening to crickets the whole time. The one thing I have negative to say about it is that I have always found it too dark, it's hard to read the menu, even after your eyes have adjusted from being outside.

    [tongue-in-cheek]
Here I go and brave the summertime crowds, not to mention the horrible humidity, at Disneyland when my group "dis's" me big time. No sooner do we get through the gate when Miana, Swguru, and Mystical take off for other places. Not only that, they never gave me the gas and parking money the owed me. So at lunch time I patiently wait in front of the Pizza Port for them. Finally, after all the others have gone in to eat, I call and find out they already were eating at the back patio. Totally passed me by without a word!

I should have made them walk home.
    [/tongue-in-cheek]

(That was a joke in case you didn't get it.)

I had a great time. Jedi Loreen and I hung out, took it easy. I met up with some longtime friends I haven't seen - including my fellow Jedi Chick who went to Denver with me in April. Since the kids weren't with me I was actually able to look at the stores, see the replacement movie at Mr. Lincoln's, and "Honey I Shrunk the Audience". :D

The LA group was like that too GreyJedi, we would meet up but then seperate just to meet up again. It's hard staying a big group. I made my carpool buddy buy me things.

Oh and that was me who yelled down to you at Indy.

Oh, okay. Sorry if I gave you a blank stare. I was searching my brain trying to remember who you were. D'oh!

Of course it was terribly hot and humid and the old "noodle" wasn't working too well.

    I'll just say this.

Next year, if anyone thinks of faking an injury to exploit a system put in place to help real injured and disabled people to board the ride, myself and others WILL make sure you are expelled from the park immediately. Nothing like a security escort to the gate to make some magical Disney memories.

I missed the SDSWS group photo. :(

I got mobbed by people from other groups after the BIG picture was taken.

Mind if I steal that? Our camera didn't cooperate and we didn't get the group shot.
We are now in the market for a new camera, ours is too old and doesn't like us...or the kids anymore LOL
