It just hit me that I should ask over here.
The kids and I have become addicted to playing the Disney game "Virtual Magic Kingdom" http://www.vmk.com
It's a cute little game. The kids aren't old enough for all of it mind you as it's a lot of teenagers playing but I sit here and we muck around with it. I will often go on without the kids to get us past something that takes a little bit of time that frustrates the kids.
They offer things that you can get for your character. Some of these things are offered as trading cards with codes on them that you get in the park if you purchase certain things and stuff, like right now you get a card for a shirt for your character if you buy a real shirt in Star Trader. There is also a card that if you buy golden Mickey ears in the park you get a card for gold ears for your character. We've got 2 of those, but if we got extra we could use them for trading if you don't plan on using them yourselves.
I was wondering if anyone has any of these cards they'd be willing to donate to the cause? Also the SW day is coming up so I'm sure there are people who will be spending money and may get one then.
One card I am desperately trying to get is a Stitch hat. The only way to get the card is from booking a Disney vacation package online. Did anyone at all book your trip for the SW day online and have the cards coming that you'd be willing to give the kids? We all love that hat!
Anyone playing the game? Our characters could hook up and hang out. The kids want to visit and trade and stuff but I don't feel I can trust enough strangers to do that. If you do play the game let me know and we can coordinate.
    Thanks guys!

Susie and I have a tradition we always follow: We MUST eat lunch in the Blue Bayou. We already have reservations for that day for six people at 11:30am (which covers me, Susie, Jay, my mom, my brother, and my sister).

One thing about reservations: they will not seat you unless everyone in the party is present, so if you call in to make reservations (and we take over the restaurant) make sure to just make a bunch of small reservations, 4-6 people, so we can get seated in a timely fashion and we don't have to wait for laggers to show up.

LOL I JUST (meaning literally last night) got into and signed up with VMK. Got my hiney sunk more times than I can count on PotC. LOL Your right..really cute and very addicting. Also, can't figure out that Haunted Mansion ..I thought I knew what I was doing.

So, yeah, your not alone.. Just stumbling through it. Also just got approved as a tester for the Interactive PotC Online Game..just waiting for it to come out. (was supposed to be 2006 NOW pushed back to 2007).

So, see ya at the Virtual Park (and at the real one too in a few weeks) WHOO HOO!![face_dancing]

Nah, I'll eat at the Cafe Orleans if I must. The 50-75% price increase at Blue Bayou prices it out of the range of most people. Cafe Orleans has the old BB pricing while BB has had everything double in price or more.

Don't stress, GJ. The prices at BB did go up, but about $5.00. Bad, but not devistating. Also, you can share a plate for $4.99 and DisneyDining stated that if you go that route that you don't just get a plate, but that the kitchen actually divides the entire meal into two equal portions. (Plus they also told me that the portions have been increased..so it all works out).

Mando, you don't HAVE to eat with us; we're not forcing you to participate in the FanForce lunch. It was just an accidental tradition we started, and it gives you a chance to meet people from fanforces all across CA. You can eat wherever you want, in case Pizza Port doesn't float your boat. :)

The BB will be open for advanced reservations only, no walk ups is what I remember seeing somewhere. Can't remember where I saw that though. [face_thinking]
