Tahiri started to follow her fiancé down the corridor, but decided to see about the Wraiths instead.

"Hiyah Auntie!" Kell greeted her, "Why are you outa bed?" she grabbed a table for support,

"I don't like staying still."

"Well we're sure.. Argh..." Wes flew into a supply cabinet. "Moving alot over here!"

"Why don't you strap in?" Tahiri questioned, motioning to Tyria, who was placidly watching her husband's antics from a crash harness.

"Because," Kell grinned, "That wouldn't be any fun!"

"You're crazy!"

"Yep. It's fun too." he smiled at her, "You should try it sometime." she was about to snap something back at him, when Anakin's voice flooded the comm,

"We got it!" Han slammed his hand down on the hyperdrive lever, and Tahiri was thrown back. She used the Force to keep herself and the Wraiths from flying into a wall.

"It worked!!!" Han shouted, and the entire ship erupted into giddy chaos.

Anakin stood up, rubbing his head.

"Remind me never to do that again." he stumbled, his leg refusing to support him any longer, Jaina caught him.

"Back to bed little brother," she raised an eyebrow, "And stay there this time." Tahiri soon joined them. Jaina made sure they actually went in, and then she locked the door. She was amused to hear the inner lock click at the same moment.

Jaina turned when she heard some one call her name, it was Jag. She broke into a run, and hit him square in the chest. The force of her hug knocked them both into a wall. They didn't bother with words, none were needed.

Theirs was an odd match, an unlikely one; yet, they were perfect for each other, meant to be.

She slowly turned her face upward, to look into his pale, green eyes, that held so much warmth, and they began to kiss, passionately. They stood like that for a very long time, as if they were the only two people in the universe.

And, just at that moment, to one another, they were.

Anakin and Tahiri were kissing as well, only not nearly as passionately. Theirs was a kiss of love's infancy, tender and sweet, full of urgency born of heartbreak, and a lingering fear of the unknown.

But their budding romance was no less loving than the mature, tempered ones all around them, probably more so. They broke off, and snuck out of the room, softly whispering to each other, oblivious to all else.

Jacen quietly watched his brother and his fiancé melt into the adjoining cabin. They probably did not even realize that he was awake.

He was lying on a bunk, staring at the ceiling. To look at him, one could see all that he had been through, his face was thin, pale, and bruised, his chest and arms were covered with lacerations and burns. His eyes were sunken and red-rimmed.

He heard some one tap the door, not realizing his brother had locked it, he just sat up.

"Jacen Solo, you open this door!" hissed a voice, an irritated, female voice. Another, male, voice soothed.

"It's okay, Mara..." then something snapped, and the door flew open.

"Did you have anything to do with that stunt with the engines?" his aunt demanded. He shook his head, and Mara swept out after Anakin. Jacen winced, and sent Anakin a quick warning.

His uncle sat down on the side of his bed. Jacen kept his eyes fixed on the bed.

"You know that was a very foolish thing you did." Luke said softly, "You underestimated the Dark side." he smiled, "As I did, when I was your age." he lifted Jacen's chin, "Look at me." Jacen did so,

"I should have known better...I.."

"Was trying to protect your family." Luke shook his head, "I tried to teach you, but, only experience could make you fully understand. I'm sorry that you had to learn your lesson the hard way. I need you to trust my judgment, or I can't trust you. Do you understand?" Jacen just nodded, and accepted his uncle's hug with relief. Luke sighed, "You know now."

Luke left Jacen to think, while he went off to save Anakin from his aunt's illogical wrath.
