It wasn't done on the spoiler board because at least three people involved are unspoiled: Joey himself, Mara, and Me. Also the spoiled people would have unveiled the joke much faster than the people over here in the NSA.

What I found a bit strange was that the moment Joey supposedly got banned, I PM'ed a certain moderator, whimsically stating how conveniently coincidental it was that the subject of a bootleg copy of AOTC just happened to arise at this particular date. I received no reply on that subject. I wonder why?

 

I was a little late on things but read this thread last and I wasn't really fooled. It was the Joey message stating how he was shocked LFL found it so quick or something. Also cbjedi's statement about GL telling TFN to ban him was too unbelievable too.



I was fooled by THX_Princess though. Never would've guessed she was in on it. She played her part to a tee and hence fooled me. She definitely is a minx!

Alot of people lost face in my eyes. That's sad.

EDIT: This is why I hate April 1st. I've had bad experiences in the past on this day. I just don't find the humor anymore. So exposing frauds is the only thing I can do. But cbjedi's involvment threw me off. But then Lady Mara gave it away with her short description through pm's. I just went to bed afterwards. Only to wake up to this mod squad stuff. Only the Padme Bra eu thing is kinda funny.

There's got to be a limit as to how far one should go. I think next year something should change.

Joey was going to start posting fake spoilers, such as Captain Kirk making a cameo and Voyager attacking Padme's ship.

Do you think folks would have caught on, then?

You know, since it's April Fool's, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the fake spoilers anyways... They'd be good for a laugh.

 

I gotta agree with Hook. I got burned pretty bad for this, for reasons that I won't disclose. I can't agree that no harm was done. It wasn't done in a physical sense, but perhaps in an mental sense.

Harmless = N'Sync takes over TFN.

As if there weren't enough reasons to distrust JC administration.
