I want you all to give examples.

A lot of music I listen to reminds me of the EU. Wagner's "Flight of the Valkyries", Knickelback's "Hero", and Crystal Method's song from the Matrix Soundtrack.

All the time! I mostly listen to rock, so that's what I tend to associate with. Whenever reading the action passages in the X-wings books, I imagined or actually listened to 'Brain Stew' by Green Day. That and 'Fuel' by Metallica. 'Land of the Living' and 'Warm Machine' by Bush remind me of the Vong invasion in the NJO.

And I know it isn't EU, but whenever I hear 'Change' by the Deftones, I think of Anakin Skywalker going bad ass on the Tuskens. I was actually listening to that a long time ago when I read a spoiler about that scene. It was trippy. ;)

Elton John's The Bitch is Back reminds me entirely of Mara Jade. [face_plain]
      "I'm a bitch, I'm a bitch
      Oh the bitch is back
Stone cold sober as a matter of fact
I can bitch, I can bitch
      `Cause I'm better than you
It's the way that I move
      The things that I do"
    ... [face_plain]

Do games count? If so, when playing Jedi Knight sometimes, just as I mow down a company of stormies, I'll get some dumb love song by rod stewart or Elton John stuck in my head.

    really weird she-yite like that. it's frikkin absurd. :confused: [face_plain] 8-}

well, every time I see a Saberfight, I hear the Techno music that played in the Matrix when Neo and Trinity shot up the lobby of the Fed Building.

In space battles I hear Creed, Metalica, and Pearl Jam

Love scenes...John Williams all the way...the forbidden love theme from Ep II will be my themesong for the rest of my life

And Occasionally, I hear Powerman 5000, When Worlds Collide...especially with a Yuuzhan Vong vs. Jedi duel

I have a rather long list for various stages of Anakin and Tahiri's relationship.
From them meeting, to falling in love, to him dying and coming back to marry her :) .

For the X-wing books, during the battles, I hear the Top Gun soundtrack in my head. With any lightsaber fight, a rocking tecno song goes. Hey, there's an idea! GL, aka God, put a saber fight in a dance club when they've got a tecno song on! [face_mischief]

Oh I forgot to post this.
For Anakin (Skywalker), 'What if' from Creed. He probably kept asking himself that all the time.

I never thought of this before. When I see Obi Wan, Qio GOn or Yoda fight, the song "Heart of a Champion" by Carmen comes to mind. Also several songs from trhe Power team sound tracks fit well.

Flying secenes, the TOp Gun music fits.:D

nothing but rock. th band Staind reminds me of Jaina during her dark side spree.
Kyp is like every single punk rocker in existence, at various times in his life (I've also noticed those who don't like punk don't often like him. A pattern perhaps? I think so.)
    I'm with Jedi_Anakin_Solo in that!!!!
to Jacensky: I would think more along the lines of "I'm not crazy 'cause I take the right pills" for kyp. If the force came in pill form that is.
I would think more of the Suicide Machine's the Killing Blow for kyp

I think I'll resurect this beauty.

Every time I write a fan fic, I always listen to the music from the Final Fantasy games. Also good is the music from ChronoCross and ChronoTrigger. Anytime there's a duel, I always hear the "Trance Kuja Theme" from Final Fantasy 9. Also good is "Dragon God" from ChronoCross. I think it fits with many running space battles.

You know how in Traitor, it's always talking about "the white". Well, if you listen to Hoobastank's "Up and Gone", it sounds almost like the theme song to Traitor because the first line goes:

Staring at the white above, can't tell if I'm alive or am I dead, or is it in my head?

    then the chorus goes:

where's the boy that used to run?
could it be he's up and gone away?
    It seems so far away
And all the things I could have done
could it be they've up and gone away
    It seems so far away
    where'd I go wrong?

This song sounds a lot like what happened to Jacen in Traitor.

I was revisiting my Garbage Version 2.0 CD and the son The Trick is to Keep Breathing reminds me of Jaina.

She's not the kind of girl
Who likes to tell the world
About the way she feel about herself.
    She takes a little time
    In making up her mind
She doesn't want to fight against the tide
