Do Jedis carry their lightsaber on their left of right?

The title it pretty self explanatory. I've seen them carry it on both sides, so does it really matter? I've always thought wearing it on the left looked cooler, but I've seen some of them wear it on the right.

 

Good lord! First off, the plural of Jedi is.......Jedi. Second....it depends on if they are right or left handed. If they're right...it would commonly be on the left. If they are left handed it would commonly be on the right.

 

What if you use the force to grab your lightsabre, then it wouldn't really matter would it.

 

I guess it mattered to Yoda. When he Force-grabbed his lightsaber, it was on his left side.

 

Jedi do not always use the Force to put it up. In fact they hardly ever do. Its a better-hand thing. But if you have no hands.........this would be the only exception...I think.

 

It depends on the Jedi.

 

I agree with DarthBane77 on this issue. At least for human Jedi. I dunno if aliens are affected by handedness the same way.

In the visual guide to EII, it says lightsabers are traditionally worn on the left side.

Anyways, lightsabers are usually worn on the "LEFT" side, however I don't believe that it is tradition, so I'm sure that it is up to the Jedi and what he/she feels comfortable with.

Well, as long as they do their job and take out the saber when they need it, I don't think it really matters which side they carry it on.

 

I think it's part of personal taste....
