Do the Jedi have sex?

Well I'm serious. I mean I was surprised when TPM came out and we learned about all these rules they have to follow.

And its bizarre because we've already learned that the Force can be passed on genetically "the Force is strong in my family" , so if anything you'd think they'd be encouraged to have more sex to increase the numbers of Jedi.

So do they have a special Jedi sperm donation program or what?

And can you imagine how horny they must get?

No wonder teenage Anakin is in such a mood all the time. It explains a lot.

And has anyone else noticed how many non-sexual births there are in the PT - Anakin born without a Father, Boba born without a mother, and all the clones born without either a father or mother.!

I don't think this thread is quite appropriate, but yes they are allowed to. I can't give you a link but I'm pretty sure Lucas said they aren't required to be celibate.

Shippers - slang for 'relationships', a term for people that writen fiction about various Star Wars pairings (and any other films etc).

Shabby Blue - oddly enough, a week ago I wouldn't have a clue either, but I stumbled across a picture of his when looking for Padme pics for the Star Wars Academy Awards thread He draws erotic SW art.

 

Shippers is a fan fic word for "relationshippers," for example if you'd rather read about Padme being in love with Obi-Wan because you happen to think she's crazy to choose Anakin over him, then you're an Obi-Wan/ Padme shipper. As for Shabby Blue, I have no idea.
And oh yeah, Jedi are not required to be celibate, this from George's own mouth. However I don't think they go around having one night stands all over the place; I sooner see sexual relationships and all romantic relationships being frowned upon.
