Seattle, WA Do we want to do anything for the 4th of July?

Since there is only a couple weeks until then, and our next official meeting will be afterwards, we should probably talk here if we want to plan anything. Any ideas anyone?
I was thinking of going to the Space Needle firework show, if anyone else is interested.

 

I actual have the day off and don't work the next day until 2pm. YAY for being out of cafe!

I'm also off and have no friends or fam in town so I'm totally for meetin up on the fourth, if anything jus to hang out with real life people...lol...oh wait

 

There was so little interest that I didn't plan anything really... hmmm...
What about seeing Superman at the Cinerama? Would that be of interest? The 3:15 showing? I'll preorder the tickets Monday if there is an interest. Just tell me so so I can get your ticket.

Or, if you want to stay out of doors in the awesome weather, we can meet at Angle Lake by the airport and have a BBQ.

Either works for me.

 

I'll be visiting with the fam during the day. But my evening is free.

 

Hmmm... if we want to see Superman, what about the South Center plaza and we'll see an evening show?

 

I'm cool with either or both....unless u guys get sick of me?

I vote for the 4:15 or 7:15 showings. What does everyone else think? I know its a tad silly to see it there when we are going to be in the area again Saturday but... that would totally rock to see IMAXed Superman.

I'll be on the peninsula most of the day but I'll see if I can make it back to town in time for the 4:15 showing.

 

We can probably make it the later showing if you wanted more time to ensure you get back for it, if you like.

 

7:15 would give me more time. But go with whatever works for everyone else!

Sorry for not responding. I've just been counting pennies to see if I have the cash. I think I could scrap it together. Either showing would be great.

I would rather do the easlier show, jsut so it's light out when the movie is over so it won't be so creepy.
But I can toughen up if the 7 showing is best for everyone else.

 

If everyone can, I also vote for the 4:15 show. I'm not scared of the dark, I'm scared of the traffic around the area for the fireworks and the drunk drivers. If not everyone can make that, then I'm ok with the 7:15 showing.

Should we preorder tickets online? Or just get them there?

 

I think the people that showed up learned 2 vital things today.

1) Pre-order tickts online. Superman was sold out.
2) The Pacific Science Center is cool if you are younger then 12.
