    I just don't like the idea of some organism inside the Jedi being the source of their Force abilities. I like the Force as a mystical thing. Just my opinion.

    I cringed a little when I first heard it. Thought about symbolism of symbiosis; not a horrible science fiction throw in; hell, I can live with it.

    Don't necessarily like it, but I agree with it. It's George's baby.

    It does make a Jedi stick out more than an average person

    I like it, I'm glad it's explained in the film not in some EU book (no offense).

    All a Midichlorian is, is Chlorine and Water...lol I don't mind the concept, either way I love the films...

    I wonder what Shmi's midichlorian count was.

    I agree with it. What Lucas says is final, nothing can dispute it.

    I agree. Without them anyone could become a Jedi Knight. That fact seems to slip past most people who disagree with Midichlorians...

    i believe that it makes sense that the more midichlorians you have, the easier using the force will come to you.

    but a jedi should not be classified by the number of midi-chlorians in his body.

    There is nothing to disagree with. It is Lucas' story and he thought it up. He created the Force so he can make the force work how he wants it to.

    I disagree with the concept of Midichlorians, as they really haven't been discussed/expounded in any of the other SW films except TPM: hence, the concept is somewhat of a discontinuity, IMHO. ;)

    Though I do believe that people are born with certain abilities, I also believe that those abilities can be developed over time, it's just harder.

    MIDICHLORIANS = PREDESTINATION = UNTRUE!!!

    I disagree. I've always liked the discription that Obi-Wan and Yoda gave in the OT.

    I'll admit it's just a tad bit crazy, but I'll agree with it. It's what the universe decided (AKA all mighty George) and who am I to dispute that? :p

    Disagree: The Force can't be quantified and they could've come up with a better way to show Anakin's power potential.
