I just don't know how people could discredit the power of the human brain. So far its the most advanced tool weve ever come across. its possibilities are practically endless and we still know very little about its workings..

and its a known fact the brain releases electrical impulses and that is a form of energy, so why is it so far off that brain waves have power themselves.

What gives 'science' weight should not be if it is fringe or mainstream, but if it has evidence or not. These two are surprisingly correlated. I think you're clearly using a different definition of fringe science than Vivec or I would ever use, as yours is apparently 'new' regardless of evidence, whereas ours would be 'unsubstantiated'. The issue isn't that it's called fringe, it's that it has no evidence. Bring the evidence, and it will get given some weight.

I'll take this post as a retraction of all your current arguments on fringe science and quantum mechanics.

and there are people who feel string theory is just as widely accepted. some really smart people too who published peer reviewed journals.

Dark Matter is also fringe at this point but it is still looked at as valid. considering what we can physically see only consists for about 10% of the universes mass.

Dark matter is not at all fringe. We have MAPS of it. That's fundamental. Dark energy, that is a concept that's a little bit more uneasy, but even that has substantial evidence for it. But nowhere near the reams of evidence for dark matter.

Lando, you don't really know what you're talking about, do you?

It's okay. You can admit it. I'm here for you.

You brought him up. Like I said last page, if he's so important, I'm certain that you can provide the context for your argument instead of you being lazy and expecting me to do your work for you.

Also I have Googled him, obviously, but since I'm not even sure what you're trying to argue, how I am supposed to know what to look for? That's on you.

no no to you it doesn't work but there are many neurobiologists who are studying just this... also many quantum mechanic theorists are also studying this..

don't discredit something that is being studied more and more...

and once again, you believe the brain holds very little power. Even though we know our reality is created by what our brains tell us. you could look at people with mental disorders for this evidence.

I don't care what you take it as.

what im telling you is that this is being studied as we speak. it hasn't been swept under the rug because there are many examples of how the human brain does things no one understands.

Provide us with links to these studies and who exactly are studying them. Stop throwing around random claims and back up what you say.

Your entire defense of quantum brain nonsense is "the brain is amazing."

Do you have anything substantive? Anything at all?

here are tons of book written on topics of quantum mechanics and the brain..... im sure youll say theyre all bunk as well..

but even if they are at this point don't make like people aren't studying it.

That's just ignorant there are scientists alive currently who study this. XD I can handle people considering them scientists just trying to make a good story, or make money. But for the love of God that is just laziness. There are many out there studying it now. The truth is that people like this don't take the time to do any real searching of their own. Try google or youtube some time. XD It's the truth, it's a fact. They do exist , they are out there.

ive posted many things and a video..

its your choice to disregard everything.. Yet you have not added anything useful to this discussion.

what are your thoughts on consciousness, reality in the brain, perceptions of reality, perceptions of time and the brain,??

these things are all being spoken about

I bet you haven't even read a single one of those search results.

EDIT: None of what you've posted would constitute a peer reviewed paper.

its because they don't wanna believe it in any way shape or form so they discredit it but themselves don't show you anything that proves your worng..

than you get a real gem of a quote that says something like discrediting MIT. some jobber on the internet is discrediting peole like Leonard Suskind, Stephen Hawking and brilliant minds at MIT and CERN overseas.
