Do You Believe There's A Place for a "Dark Fantasy" or "Horror" Novel/Anthology in Star Wars?

Simple question - Do you believe there's a place for Dark Fantasy or Horror in the EU?

Whether it's a "Tales of the Dark Side" -style novel anthology, or a single stand alone novel or novel trilogy.

Do you think you would support a story that clearly falls within the Dark Fantasy or Horror genre.

 

Just to clarify, I don't want a story where some Ewok serial killer lops-off Leia's head.

I was thinking that it should be done with new characters, not established ones. Also, for Canonical purposes, it should qualify as Sci-Fi, and not be some supernatural ghost story. Unless, of course, it fits into the Force.
