Both. I run 3-5 miles a day, 4-5 days a week. And I know within 100 calories how much I take in every day. I keep track of my fat grams, etc. We had a family member die this year simply because he was fat and he was only 46. Life is too much fun to die early. We make sure our kids eat healthy, too. There is no food they can't have, we just tell them that some foods are treats and not to be eaten every day. Fast food is a no no, unless we're traveling.
