You all know what a comedy third option is... for example, if there was a "Who is your favorite Star Wars character" poll and the choices were "Luke Skywalker / Darth Vader / Mr. Spock", Spock would be the comedy third option.
Rick McCallum loves you!
Comedy options in polls are dumb. If you want serious feedback, you shouldn't include comedy options. (This also includes "Other," "Neither," etc.)
So... uh... No, I don't generally pick the comedy third option.
No I guess.
I sometimes pick the comedy third option.
Nah, but I like that they are there
I said yes.
But I agree -- if you want any serious answers, don't include a comedy option.
No, unless it's clear that it's really a "I don't know" option.
Or rather rarely.
Rarely. I generally don't like them because they invalidate the poll results.
And they aren't always third.
My college professors do this quite often on their multiple choice exams.
Not that I've ever picked any of them.
not to sound like a square, but i generally try to answer the question in a prompt and objective manner.
Only on Polls like this.
Nope, I try to answer truthfully.
I usually just vote for the underdog.
