JCC Do you have a nickname?

For a time I was known as the guy from Pan's Labyrinth who would eat children and fairies. Seeing as their was no real name, people just signified it by putting their hands up over their eye sockets whenever they saw it.

 

Ray, Rach, Radar, Weedz, and Stitches are all things that some people call me with fair frequency. But the nickname I get most of the time is just my last name. Most of my professors and fellow students used that because there are always multiple Rachels and my last name's fun to say.

 

As a kid, Rachie-Roo.

Now, Rach or Sunshine.

 

I don't have that many or funny. But a lot of people call me mais or maisen. Makes no sense in english though.

 

That's funny, as a kid my nickname from my parents was Rachie-Poo, something they (and my best friend I've known since I was 2) still call me from time to time. I get "Rachie" a fair amount from my family and boyfriend still, though.

 

Next revolution is that we're actually the same person but from alternate universes.

at work it alternates between "alejandro" and "river bear"

 

1. Scottie when I was little. Years ago when I played soccer there was another Brandon on the team, though his was spelled Brendan, but anyway because of the confusion the coach wanted to call me by my last name but it didn't work out at the time.(Although being in JROTC in high school years later we went by last name but anyway.) So he tried calling me by my middle name which is Scott. But one day he said Scottie, and the name stuck. Subsequent seasons when we had new people on the team, they actually thought that was my real name.They were shocked to find out it wasn't.

In high school -
2. That Youtube Guy - Because of the weekly videos I did at school and etc, that's what some people called me.
3. The Russian - These Spanish guys liked my fake Russian accent that I sometimes did in weight training so that's what they called me.
4. Jew Boy - I found this out listening to some guys behind me during lunch, They didn't know if I was Jewish or not, but they assumed so because I wear a Star of David.

No, my parents just named me Nat.

Though actually, in real life, my dad's the onle one who calls me that; I go by Natalie.

As a very small child I was Lissie or Lissa . . . my dad still calls me that sometimes. In high school I was "Fuzzy" because I have really unfortunate hair. I do occasionally get "ophelia" IRL, which is possibly the saddest thing that can be said about me. Of all the things people have called me, I think I like "ophie-wan" the best.
