JCC Do you hug?

It's how my friends greet and say bye to each other, usually with a kiss on the cheek for a girl friend, so yeah, often.

 

And I'll do just about anything! Legal that is!

 

There are some people in this thread I would hug. Some I certainly would not.

 

Ok. Understood. I assumed this was supposed to be a humor light thread. My apologies. Sorry for going off topic. Heavy drinking is a serous matter. I was wrong.

The second rule, you DO NOT talk about hug club.

 

I will hug relatives and old friends without flinching, and then I will flinchingly hug random others in the same room, so they don't feel left out. This ends up being awkward and miserable for everyone.

 

I love hugs! Especially from friends I haven't seen in a while or family. I want a hug now!

I honestly cannot really answer. I have a feeling I was more huggy when I was younger, but not so much now. I will reciprocate a hug, but probably won't initiate one. I'm much more likely to give a short bow in greeting or acknowledgement.

 

I hug female friends as a usual greeting. And male friends if I haven't seen them for a while. Otherwise a sturdy handshake and a friendly slap on the upper arm. Hug most family members, but a few that I don't as I know what works and what doesn't.

No. I generally try to avoid interaction as much as possible with other people in real life.

 

i secretly love hugs. especially bear hugs. i just want people to crush me with a long hug.

but i'm bad at initiating, unless i'm drunk.

but only from friends and guys that i see. i get weird when my mother hugs me.

 

Big fan but generally only hug people I know pretty well.

 

Even though I've worked with my fellow buddies for years I don't like being hugged by them. I don't mind handshakes though.
