yeah I know it, and _princess_leia_ is right, it only works on people who barely know the game.

Sadly, no. [face_thinking] It would come in ever so handy against my family members who are even less accomplished at chess than me. :p

I had it done to me about the second time I ever played, but can't for the life of me remember how it goes :(

Only the true n00bs on chess will fall victim to it. But yes, I know how to.

I could have sworn I did this already. Deja vu.

Yes I know it, I used it, won once against a friend a long time ago with it. He actually yelled out laughing.

    "No way! We're starting over!"-him

"Of course we're starting over, I just beat you. Time for a new game."-me

Chess book I learned it from called it the 'Blitzkrieg.' Politically correct? Maybe not, but it does work. Pulled it on one guy; best chess moment of my life. Well, that and the time I waged a war of attrition against my opponent and didn't even try for a check mate until only her king and one pawn was left. That was fun. If nontraditional.

I'm one of those people who it'd work like a charm on. So, no.
