Buff, NY Do you like the new Sabres Jerseys?

We do!! Went down to the Arena on Saturday at 8:30 and waited 2 1/2 hrs to get this-they only had 50-60 adult ones so we were pretty happy to snag one

Its tough to tell on TV but in person on that blue jersey it really looks good. I will wear it next time.

 

If you dont mind me asking how much did the jersey set you back? I want to get my Miller jersey signed and have to replace it. Did they have the throwback jerseys on sale too?

 

Just when I was thinking about getting a Sabres jersey, they had to go and change the logo. Guess that means now I should be able to get the "old" jerseys for cheap (if anyone will still stock them !).

 

The only jerseys that were available were blank new blue ones. White ones and throwbacks were not in yet but can be ordered. They were $95 plus $65 for the names and numbers which you can take back to be put on at a later time. An authentic game one with the fight strap and eevrything is $225-$260. But they dont have any now. Best bet is go there or to the website and get your order in because the factory could not get them out in time.

 

I was looking to pick one up at Great Skate, as they're much closer than the arena.

 

Not at all. It reminds me of the Seattle Seahawks. Dont know why but it deoes. I guess if I actually see one close up it might grow on me.

 

Where's the Sabre? It needs the Sabre!

I like the jerseys, but the logo has to go. It looks like a buffalo is being flushed down the toilet. What is wrong with the original logo? The running buffalo over two crossed sabres is a great logo.

 

I think it looks like the chargers logo, are the red and black ones gone? everyone will get used to it over time...remember when they changed from blue and gold to red and black, not everyone liked them at first



as long as they dont look like the "vulcan v" canucks jerseys, or the equally hideous green Northstars jerseys, I think we are good to go.

I don't understand why they changed it. I liked the last logo and was even growing fond of the red 3rd jersey.

 

It will grow on me...I want a throw back jersey.

 

I don't really like the new jerseys....the old blue one is cool. I dont like the sleeves on the white one....too hard on the eyes...too unconventional...where are the sabers???

The Buffalo Lightsabers!!!! We could have the home green and the Sith away red!

That particular shade of blue at least in the picture reminds me of the Minnesota Vikings a bit.

Not bad, but they could have done better. Don't mind the logo, but I still prefer the previous one.

 

Go to the Sabres web site. If you log in and register watch the video of the jersey unveiling. My friend and I are in line paying for our jerseys!

I don't like it. It reminds me of the Buffalo Bandits.

 

I like these colors better than the red, black, and white. It seems like EVERYBODY has those colors. Its good to see the old colors again.

BTW, I`m lighting up the tower blue, gold, and white for the home opener Oct. 6. Check it out! It`ll probably be on TV.
