Finally, a Star Wars movie title I can appreciate.

 

Love it. Like all the other titles, it suggests perfectly what we're in for.

Heck yeah I love it. I can't see why anyone wouldn't like it. It's the perfect title for this movie.

Loved the title, fits in perfect with the overall
theme of the movie as well with the lines spoken
by Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace.

Hm, I dont understand how people of this forum DONT
know what the Sith Lords revenge is all about.
Its pretty weird how that could have passed so many
people. Did you never listen to what they said in
TPM? The Sith was wiped out by the Jedi and the Sith
had now returned in secret to extract their revenge
to the Jedi because they wiped them out 1000 years ago.

Darth Maul longed to reveal to the Jedi that they
were back and would finally get their revenge and
wipe out every Jedi just like they had done to the
Sith a millenium earlier.

(and golly, I'm with you.. it's soooooo obvious what the sith want revenge for... and it's a great revenge: eye for an eye; they wiped us out, so we'll wipe them out (wipe them out... wipe them all out))

i dunno. this entire trilogy has been a letdown so far. it's really tough to rally behind the new movie and lucas, considering not only has he failed to deliver quality star wars films in the pt, but he is also not releasing the orignal theatrical uncut ot.

i've lost A LOT of love for the star wars franchise and george lucas in the past few years.

 

I like the title, but I still haven't quite figured out why Rise of the Sith isn't better. And why not do The Sith Take Revenge to mirror The Empire Strikes Back? I guess it doesn't just roll off the tongue quite right... but I liked Rise of the Sith. He already used the term Empire, so I think Sith had to in there somewhere. I don't know... still hovering inbetween for now.

 

91% of Star Wars fans actually like something about Star Wars. This has to be some kind of record.

I love the title 'Revenge of the Sith'. It nicely mirrors 'Return of the Jedi'. Afterall, Revenge is very much a Sith emotion, and it has driven them for nearly 1000 years.

The only fear I have is that the title can be too easily altered by critics who criticise everything GL does!
