Vegemite is the nectar of the gods.
"What is Vegemite, and how can I obtain some?"
I have never seen Vegemite in a grocery store in Minnesota, and I have no clue what it is made out of. It looks like some sort of jam though.
I might've tasted it, but I don't remember, so I chose the last option.
I love Vegemite. For those wondering, it's an Australian invention. Here's the [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegemite]Wikipedia[/link] entry.
I'm willing to try it if I ever come across some.
It's an aquired taste, and I kinda like it, but I wouldn't eat gobs of it.
What is this Vegemite of which you speak?
I read the Wikipedia entry and I'd be willing to taste it, but it doesn't sound like something I'd be fond of.
Vegemite is awesome.
Never had it, but I'm interested
I gag at the sight of it!
Ha! I can't vote. I've never tasted it.
"Isn't that just un-Australian"
Where's the option that says "I know what Vegemite is and/or heard of it", but have never had the oppurtunity to try it.
If Vegemite is anything like its British cousin Marmite then "NO, it's horrible!!".
Nope. Vegemite is way superior to Marmite. (I should know. I'm British-Australian and have been repeatedly exposed to both )
^^ I didn't know that. I just assumed it tasted as bad as the other.
Never tried it.
Marmite >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vegemite
Marmite is much nicer.
Yes, but not too much
I love it on toast. Followed by a glass of cold milk.
Great, now I'm hungry.
Haven't had any so I'll go with the North-American "huh?" answer.
My cousins from Sydney brought some to NY once and I thought it was pretty good. They told me it was made from beer yeast or something like that. Last year, while honeymooning in England I tried Marmite and wasn't impressed
