I'll be honest and say through celebrities My life is pretty average, and sometimes their lives are what I wish mine could be. The other half of the time I just take life as it is

Edit: Not the shallow, brainless celebrities I meant intelligent people who are interesting/funny/etc... I'm not a Paris Hilton wannabe or something like that

No, I take my life as is - most of the time, anyway. I have to admit that as an avid reader and a sometime writer, I do occasionally live vicariously through fictional characters.

It's actually very hard for me to take pleasure in the joys and successes of others. I wish I could, but when it comes down to it, I'm bitter more often than I am vicariously happy. But when a truly good person receives something they completely deserve (and didn't expect), I can't help but feel joy.

It's one of my favorite feelings, and I wish I could feel it more often.

I find that I tend to live my life vicariously through fictional characters, whether they are on a television show, movie or book.
