This poll has some wierd options, so I voted "other". I joined the Navy as an Aviation Electrician (worked on SH-60B's), served my time and then got out in '97.

Neither of the "Yes" options fit because I am not active nor am I in the reserves.

As there is no "I will in the future", I won't vote for anything yet. In Finland everyone has to serve in the military (or in civil alternative service or go to jail), and next year is my turn.

I've not served in the military. I'm not sure the spirited tease in me could conform to it. I am however, very grateful to those who do serve.

I was in te Army in Army aviation. I flew Apaches in the first Gulf War.

4 years active duty, 4 years inactive reserves... from 1991-1999, active from 1992-1996, inactive reserves the rest of the time until I was honorably discharged.
