Maybe, I can't decide. If I were to buy them, it would be mainly for collecting purposes since I have no problem with the newer versions.

Nope. I already have two versions of them on VHS, and I prefer the 2004 DVDs. If I were to buy them, they would merely be collect dust.

To me, the 2004 DVDs is the definitive Star Wars Original Trilogy.

Sure, I'd like to have a nice copy of the O-OT, even though I do not completely hate the 2004 DVD versions.

Yeah, I'll get them. I have them on vhs, but I'd rather have them in a widescreen format.

If it's not too expensive, I may.

I just want a choice on what age my Anakin ghost is.

I probably will, I haven't seen the O-OT since 1995 when my family rented them and I'll probably be curious as to how I remember everything

I prefer the 2004 DVDs when compared to all versions of the OT, however

    YES YES YES!!!

I have adamantly refused to purchase any of the current DVD versions. I have been waiting for this day since, well, I purchased a DVD player. When the SE editions were released, I thought heck, the originals will come out - Lucas is just making us all purchase the SE editions knowing some of us will fork out cash again for the originals...then time went by...Lucas altered them again...I lost hope - I believed Lucas would never acknowledge his orginal versions.

Of course, they will now cost an exorbitant amount of $: separate release, inclusion of the 2004 editions on a separate disk - totally an excuse to hike up the price. Think about it: ppl already have the 2004 editions, or they don't - and most ppl who don't have them are probably like me and don't have them because they want nothing to do with them anyway.

I love the original versions and I of course will buy it, but I don't know what someone is on or what is wrong with someone who won't buy them because it comes with the 2004 DVD versions also. Lucas is giving you the choice of what version to watch. Some people will never be satisfied, it is really pointless to reason with some people!
