    No.

    I have evolved from "yub-yub". However, those memories still linger in my childhood... but that is where they will stay. Clouded Star Wars memories... it is good to have some of those still remain.

    Nope, apparently I already got them when I got some laserdiscs rips from a buddy.

    Nope. I'm sorry, but LFL "searched the Lucasfilm archives" and the best they could come up with was some old laserdiscs? No thanks.

    If it had been just the Originals, and no 2004 things with it, I'd be up for buying it. If it were a decent quality source, I'd be up for buying it. If it wasn't for Lucas making us part with every bit of money we have, I'd buy it.

    Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the effort to waste anymore of my money on a capitalistic venture. I'll stick to my VHS', thanks. In addition, I think I'll follow dork's example and use the 2004 editions that I already have as tea coasters.

    Well i dont have the money to buy it but i would want a low price on it but i doubt it would happen.

    Maybe A New Hope, since it was the film that got changed the most. I'm not sure I want to buy them again since I already spent $40 on the set last year.

    No. Sadly the OT is being released yet again and I am once again taking a pass. I have no interest in the SE, I fear I would pull an Elvis if I saw Christiansen as the Anakin ghost at the end of ROTJ, or Greedo getting off a shot at Han. And the utter lack of effort gone into the OOT release is pathetic.

    Hopefully, someday Lucas will show his longest-standing fans the respect they deserve and actually put some effort into releasing the OOT. Until then, my signature shall remain unchanged.

    I went back and forth on this a bunch of times, but I finally decided my answer is a no. I would?ve forked over the cash had the O-OT been offered in a budget set costing no more than thirty dollars, but as it stands I can?t bring myself to spring for this new set. The anamorphic issue, the ?bonus feature? issue, as well as the rumored 30th anniversary box set which may include yet another version of the original films all leave me with too bad a taste in my mouth.

    I bought the "altered" version - don't like it one bit. Would love to sell it and get the unaltered version a heart beat.

    The poll isn't about what you like or dislike or think shouldn't have been made - it's a simple question of yes, maybe, or no when it comes down to it. :)

    And yes, I realise this answer is oh so late.
