Frequently. Usually for posts or messages with large amounts of markups.
No. I've done it accidentally, but I've never thought of a reason to do it intentionally.
Sometimes I PM myself a reminder to do something later. E.G. If I'm on a different PC. Other times I do it to test MUCs.
I do to make sure all my MUCs work.
I've done it occasionally, usually if I'm on a PC different to my usual one and need to save whatever it is I'm working on. And by accident now and then.
Only by accident, so no, not really.
Yeah. In fact, I do it a lot. I PM myself reminders and posts and lists. Things that I have intention of saving as a Word document on my computer, yet need a spot.
Yes, I talk to myself often.
Usually I do it to save things I am working on, then I can just keep replying to myself until I finish the project.
I will admit I've done this before. Sometimes before I send messages with a great deal of markups or sometimes as a reminder.
Yeah, usually when I am participating in a game. It was a reminder for me to post/defend my team or be banned
Occasionally when I need to write something down, I just PM myself.
Don't think I ever have.
I use to all the time for reminders and to test some things. Now I have my own message board where I post things privately.
Only once intentionally to preview one I was sending.
Usually if I just need to remember something.
Sometimes, when I need a preview function of a markup code-heavy PM I'm sending to someone else.
Yes, usually reminders.
Yes, because I'm lonely.
I mean, yes, I have once or twice just to remind myself of something or another.
Yes, aaalllll the time, for reminders. Read something, edit something, update an index, put up polls, PM someone about something . . . somewhat lame to see a PM from myself (and sometimes, multiple PMs from myself ) but it's a good way to remind myself of something. The hot pink brings attention (Though I've been doing it for years ).
No but i did once
Mostly when I can't answer an already opened PM directly, so I won't forget it.
