Do you remember Northstar?

When I was young, maybe around 9 or 10, there was a TV movie I watched and loved.
It was called Northstar.
It was about an astronaut who went up into space, got hit with 'cosmic sun rays' and his DNA was altered.
When he returned to earth he found out that exposure to sunlight gave him powers.
I do not remember much else about the movie but I am sure that his eyes also turned red.
I have since been unable to find this movie anywhere except blackstar.com and I paid for it, waited months and then was told they could not get it and gave me my money back.
Does anyone else remember this movie and know where I can get a copy of it?
