Do you think Star wars games should be more movie related?

Well it doesnt matter to me Ill play the games nonetheless.

 

I think there should be games based on EU books. Like the X-wing books. They could really do a lot with the books, you could play as Wedge, start off with the reforming of Rogue Squadron, then when he starts Wraith Squadron you jump to Face, and then finally for Starfighters of Adumar, you're Wes. They could call it "Rogue Squadron: X-wing" but they would have to redo the ground camera, I hate it on Rebel Strike.

And then they could do an NJO game like they did Jedi Academy/Knight/whatever. Except you switch around between Anakin, Jacen, and Jaina. I personally would love that. Oh and it'd be sweet to fly a Coralskipper. Except I would want to use a joystick for flying.

More movie related? It was disgusting enough that every music score and even incidental tune from Jedi Outcast came from the sacred movies. I wouldn't buy a game knowing that went further.

Ask youself how many games have been movie-based over the decades.

If they can't make a game that's out of the trilogy years---now---then you're lliving in a twilight of no tomorrow, where new products are new.

 

Yeah, I get a disappointed too when an EU game uses too much music from the films. SOTE was good in that respect as it had original music for the three final levels. The RS series also have a lot of original music. So, yeah, JO was a bit disappointing in that department, but it was a fun game nonetheless.
