Do you think that gungans will come into NJO ?

I wonder how Yuzhan vong would fair against energy balls.

The gungans do grow all their technology. . . I wonder how the Vong would react to them, or how they could enslave them and use them somehow.

 

would be very interesting. but gl probably told the authors not to touch any thing from the movies(like the disapearing jedi trick )

 

I think it would be cool for them to land on naboo, maybe it could become the temporary capital planet of the Republic.

i agree with wedge on this one. They are very similar once i think about it, and yes the gungans do grow all of their technology. But as far as them helping the NR, nothing more then having spare men for useless duties. The gungans are known for biotech land weaponary, not superior air and space stuff and neither with long range anti-air craft. I think the NR could use them for tests to match witts with the Vong, trying to find the weakness in their biotech, but otherwise err i don't see how they can help that much.

 

Naboo will show up later i'll bet, it'll either be a decisive battle or some connection to the series end. Or it's just there for reference, or when the map was made TPM was just out...

 

Given their similarities could they not be the same species?...that binks was a failed early attempt......destroy the galaxy through fart jokes?...

 

The Yuuzhan Vong might respect Gungans as honorable warriors but wouldnt like their gods or use of certain technology very much,they have shown respect for Rodians and other violent species so gungans would be respected at least unless one like jar jar is encountered first.

 

If they were to go against the vong, would energy balls be effective?

 

Considering that the trade federations battle droids whooped on the gungans with their energy balls, I don't think they'd stand much of a chance against the Yuzhaan Vong.
