The only ones that remembered where actually there. Like Obi-Wan, Bail Organa, Anakin/Vader, and Boba fett (me thinks) but he doesn't talk much.

 

I have got to agree with joe, many records were destroyed. Also, (in my opinion) Vader would have tried to prurge her entire existance in order to separate his Jedi past from his Sith future, remember that it was a link to that past that turned him back. The emporer might have something to do with this as well. I voted NO

 

R2 or CP30 could know.

In ANH the Death Star plans were hidden in his memory. R2 didn't even know about the plans until a code word unlock his memory.

 

But you must also realize is that C3P0 was on Tatooine in ANH and it was like he was never there in TPM. So the droids could have had their memory erased.

*In TPM, C3P0 never said he was fluent in over six million forms of communication. He could have been programed and that erased the memory*

However in one of the comics (I think union but I'm not sure) C3P0 found out he was 'born' on Tatooine

So I'm just saying that anything is possible.
