O.C, CA Do you think we should combine monthy meetings with events?

PS: The February meeting will be on the 12th either way. There will be an announcement up a few days after this poll is over.

I was wondering the same thing. I voted to have meetings and events together, sometimes.

 

The web coding the poll system uses doesn't like the '&' symbol

 

Separate is nice because if you miss the meeting then you can hang out later at the other event. "amp?!" It's what I use when I have a DJ gig. It powers my speakers.

 

I just don't think this club has the support right now to warrant 2 gatherings every month.

I see your point James but more is not bad. I mean, once a month meeting to talk about the club and get together for the club is good. The second event would be for charity or social....movies/raising money/volunteering.

 

Talk about what exactly?

 

club stuff like...
Are we doing relay again?
What are doing for Comic con
What other charity events are we doing?
How can we grow the club?
What fun things we can do.

Oh yeah, why James and Valerie really didn't show up to the once a month meeting...

 

Yes because all those things were so successfully discussed last year.

To get back on topic.
I enjoy seeing folks more than once a month.

 

I'd love to see the club members more than once a month also, but there's so many other things going on, it just doesn't happen. With school, work, or just life in general, plus with Saber classes twice a week, it's hard to find time for 2 OC Fanforce gatherings a month. But, that's why we have the poll, and I will do what is voted on.

 

It's nice to see we have 13 members.
I got a question, if you do not have a PC does that mean you are not part of the club? or you can not be a part? Just thinking out loud, and yes it hurts.

 

Jen didn't have a computer and she managed to make it to events. It's difficult, but not impossible.

 

I would rather have them separate. But if people will not come to both, then together is good. As long as people still come to them. I know its not an exciting time to be a star wars geek because the movies are over and all but I still enjoy getting together with everyone. I hope everyone continues to come but if not, I will still hang out with my friends.
