It's a fan ficcer's best friend if you want to try to stay canon but don't have the time/money to buy every single piece of Star Wars literature to look things up.

 

All the time. I use it to either look up stuff for writing or to double-check stuff.

Yeah, I do. In fact, most of my knowledge of the EU is derived from Wookieepedia having not read any of the books. Also, I get most of my images (apart from the films themselves) from the site while icon making. It's great way to get to know the EU because I usually follow associated people and learn a lot while I'm finding the images. Good stuff. I'm not sure how the "Star Wars" online universe even worked before this site.

Wookieepedia art is better than what is on wikipedia for SW topics.

 

Wookieepedia is by far the best site for Star Wars info, beating the official site by a long shot.

Yes, all the time, but only out of necessity. I don't approve of a lot of what goes on over there, but it's convenient. Sames goes for Wikipedia.

Yep. As a fanfic author, I use it on a regular basis.

 

More of a ... I've stopped by. I just read stuff when I'm curious. I couldn't say I use it on a regular basis. I don't write fanfics yet.

 

I don't write fan fiction yet, but I use it quite often when I want check my facts while reading someone else's fic, or to read the synopsis of a book that I don't plan on buying or reading, but am still interested.
