I know that the rumors we've heard don't support the idea, but excepting that (because who the heck knows) I fail to see why Adam playing the lead would be such a crazy idea?

What I mean is, the guy's a pretty darned good actor, has an attractive/interesting (depending on one's p.o.v.) look about him, etc.

I'm not saying I buy any of this stuff (though I'm of the opinion that if Metal Bikini wants to share, I'll listen). I'm just saying that I think we could certainly do worse than Adam Driver as our lead.

I'm not sure why you think I'm implying Adam isn't a great actor? The whole cast is inspired! If every good actor in this cast is the lead then they're all leads surely! There is zero evidence he's the lead. You may as well name any of the other cast at random. I'm 100% convinced Daisy is the lead in this movie.
