Speculation Do you want to revisit old planets??

I'd like to see Tatooine again, and maybe a of planets from the PT, like Coruscant and Naboo with Theed Palace. But I'd really like to see new planets as well.

Or others which were only mentioned, like Corellia or Sullust.

(Maybe Dantooine, but only with Tarkin's pronounciation! )

According to Mark Hamill, Lucas told him the news last August, so presumably the Sequel Trilogy has been in the works even before that.

Tattooine will no doubt make an appearance. Coruscant too - is it still the capital in the EU in the Luke novels?

I'd like to see all new worlds and a few from the Clone Wars, like Mon Cala.

 

It was. Then it wasn't. Then it was again. It still is.

Coruscant and Tatooine...two planets that popped up in both Prequels and Originals to keep the 'feel' going. That, plus new worlds.

Tatooine must feature as that IS Star Wars in a lot of ways. Coruscant will have to feature as well of course.

It would be interesting to go back to Naboo as well, I think. Its a very key planet in the Saga, what with it being the home planet of Padme and Palpatine (so the Rebellion and the Empre was born out of Naboo)

Beyond that, lets get plenty of new planets involved.

 

Must Have:
* Coruscant (underlevels please!)

Would Be Nice:
* Yavin IV or Ossus with the Jedi Academy
* Kessel
* Kashyyyk (with more trees and less ocean)
* Korriban

 

Only if it makes perfect sense for the story. No "hey! remember this place? we're here now!"

 

I think Naboo and Tatooine make perfect sense. I can totally see Luke and Leia visiting Naboo after somehow learning more information about their mother.

 

Some:

I like Coruscant a lot, but Nar Shaddaa in TOR was even better. I think Tatooine is overdone, but I can imagine it would be more of a pelgrim world because both Skywalkers were born there (and my guess is that SW VII will take place hundreds or thousands years after SW VI).

 

A couple brand new planets for certain, and perhaps some mentioned in the OT, but not seen...love to see an old school vibe in these. It was a great relief to finally get to Kashyyyk, wasn't it? Maybe a couple OT/PT planets revisited, but not all at once.

 

Yes, I can't see that getting included with half the audience saying "What?!?"

Only planet I want to see in episode 7 is Coruscant. But besides that I hope that we see all new planets.

Which locations in the GFFA would you like to see in Epidode VII?
Here are mine:

• Coruscant- Duh
• Yavin 4- If Luke opens a Jedi academy there, connection to ancient Sith
• Ziost- Connection to ancient sith, dark side is strong
• Korriban- Connection to ancient sith, dark side strong, rakata remains can play a role
• Myrkr- wildlife proves challenge for Jedi
• Dathomir- witches of dathomir are interesting, Chu'unthor could play a role in Luke's quest for Jedi hitory
• Honoghr- the story line of the noghri in TTT was awesome, and could be used
• Corellia- Thrackan was awesome
• Mandalore- Mandalorians are awesome
• Zonama Sekot- in case the villains come from another galaxy
• Csilla- in case thrawn plays a role
• Tatooine- It's classic

 

I'll only allow a Yavin IV revisit. Please no Tatooine, that one was beaten to death, there isn't anything left there after the death of Jabba.

I'd like Mon Calamari/Dac too although some might say we already had a water-planet with Kamino so it would be redundant.

 

Coruscant but I hope it is different, not the same shining city planet we remember in the prequels. It should be worn and darker from years of totalitarian rule. It's unlikely the transition from empire to new republic was smooth sailing--it should be war torn. This should be a post-war planet with plenty of ruin and rubble. It would be interesting if whole parts of the city have been demolished. That miners have raided and taken many of the precious metals that comprised buildings. Just a thought--it should have a different feel. Beyond that, I agree that they should only return to a planet for the sake of the story. I think it would be interesting if the new republic or the new jedi order founded their base somewhere beyond Coruscant--a new capital. The only one I think would be cool to see again is Cloud City.
