And now I'm more torn as to which version of season 1 to part with, since the squished one matches the other box sets, but my other copy looks way nicer. #firstworldproblems

Haha. It's that really obnoxious hard clear plastic that I honestly don't know how to fix. The only thing I could think of is figuring out a way to make it malleable and reshape it, but I don't want to ruin the art on it.

I felt the exact same way! I really disliked her the first time, but liked her a lot more the second time and ever since. It's weird. The first time I seriously loathed her for how awful she was to Mickey. Maybe once I knew that Mickey would eventually wise up and be okay AND that Rose would become a badass, I didn't mind as much.

 

One of my friends summarized that I only really care about Rose because the Doctor cares about Rose and I really only care about his happiness.

 

I was never really all that annoyed by Rose. Although the way she treated him got really ridiculous, Mickey was an insufferable moron at first.

 

Well the problem was that I could barely get the DVD folder OUT of the cover because the edges are so warped.

 

Oh.

 

C'mon guys, Mickey is the kicked puppy of Doctor Who.

Hope, yes, but denying there's only going to be one 60 minute film doesn't confirm there's going to be a great deal more.

He wrote two specials, but they're 25 minutes each...to celebrate by going back to an old format!

Whew. I know Moffat Lies, but I highly doubt he'd lie about there being one 60 minute film then be like, "psych! It's totally just one 60 minute special after all, hahaha!" So yeah, I'm guessing it's a series of specials or maybe (pretty please?) even more like a whole series.

 

I'm guessing it's more, yes, but I'm not going to get so carried away as to think that means it's going to be a series of specials. Or more. That's setting oneself up for a fall... just like hypothesising about the content of the special(s). Fans want everything and anything and tend to think that if they don't get that then they've been betrayed. So whilst I'm pretty sure Moffat has something awesome up his many sleeves, I'm not going to assume that more = better.

 

Well, no, I don't really think it'll be that many. But I'm hoping for something along the lines of the Tennant Specials, with 4 specials or so, but probably more connected than that. More isn't necessarily better... unless it's more episodes with Tennant. Then yes, yes it is. It literally doesn't matter what Tennant is doing, if he's back for multiple episodes, the more the merrier because he will make each second awesome.

 

Ah, the unbiased voice. Did I mention I'm going to see Tennant in Richard II in Stratford?
