I didn't know they still allowed that, very nice.

Is the Who museum near there still open?

If you get a group of 10 people, it's still only £310 so that's a bit better. Exclusive access.

    Tis tempting I must admit.

There is hopefully an inherent need to protect the young, and the innocent; I'm not sure if "shocked" is the right word, but when Amy's baby unexpectedly turned to goo, upon Madame Kovarian's "Wakey wakey", and Amy's hands sort of squeezed in slightly with the loss of the child's solidity - good bit of acting - there was definite consternation on my part.

As a SW fan (that's why I'm here, right?), I should find those spitfires more entertaining, but they seem to be bad quality, out of focus, and at least in A Good Man Goes To War, you could change their scene to a television test card and not affect the pacing of the story. They have no impact.

And what, the Colonel's space fleet doesn't see three fighters creating fireballs against the outside of the asteroid that you are supposed to be guarding?

I think my greatest disappointment, although I love the episode, is the fact that after the Doctor yells that he wants the Colonel to tell his men to run away, makes a great case for why he wants the order given, and Madame Kovarian also tells the guy to give the order, we just see troops walking out with their hands on their heads! Really, how much extra effort would it have been to have those extras jogging the half dozen metres or less out of the scene?

So Christina Chong is the soldier in this episode that joined them and then died?

    6.09: Let's Kill Hitler

"This isn't the River Song we know yet. This is her right at the start. She doesn't even know her name."

This episode has got to be the most inane insult to the show this side of Love and Monsters. I'm sorry but there is very very little of this episode to redeem it from being an absolute failure. What do I like about this episode? We're introduced to Riversong and it starts to establish the arc that we saw back in Series 4 in the David Tennant two-parter. That's it. Nothing else in this episode works. Let's begin with the insultingly misleading and banal title, Let's Kill Hitler. This episode has nothing to do with Hitler, the Nazi regime or World War 2. In all fairness to the show, you couldn't expect a Doctor Who episode to explore the theme of altering the events of World War 2 given how controversial the subject matter would be. If the Doctor leaves history unaltered, he allows for one of the greatest atrocities in Earth's history to take place. If he kills Hitler, well, we're clearly watching a version of Earth that isn't ours. So, the question is, why make this episode at all?

The TARDIS literally crash lands into Hitler's office, saving his life only for the vacuous four to look at Hitler dumbfounded. After several moments of tomfoolery, Hitler is placed in the closest. Yep, that's the precise extent to which the episode will have anything to do with Hitler. Satisfied? I wasn't. We then have the prolonged sequence of the Doctor dying, regeneration being used as a weapon, some Time agency with robotic drones that have people inside. You know what, I can't be bothered. I could sit here and dissect this thing to bits but this episode just pisses me off. So pissed off in fact, i'm just going to allow the man himself to review this one. All yours, my Führer:

I liked it good enough, but it is where things start to go off the rails with S6.
